Vietnam Airlines is to operate five flights a week from Heathrow over the summer season before returning to daily flight frequencies from 26 October.
The airline will operate three nonstop flights to Hanoi and two to Ho Chi Minh City out of Heathrow’s terminal 4 using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The countrys’ national flag carrier will also launch nonstop flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Denpasar Bali in June; and a new thrice-weekly service from Milan to Hanoi in July; further increasing connectivity from Europe to Vietnam and beyond.
Vietnam Airlines offers the UK’s only nonstop flights to Vietnam, an increasingly important destination for both business and tourist traffic.
